[OpenLayers-Users] get feature info select box

Has anyone got an example of how to use the mouse to drag a rectangle/square
over the map area which then can be used to intersect with map objects such
as server-side polygons?

I really just want a client tool to generate the drag box and expose the
BBox in real map coords. I can then stuff these into a filtered GetFeature
request to snare all the objects I want.
