[OpenLayers-Users] no predefined zoomlevels

Hi list,

is there a way to get no (unlimited) predefined zoomlevels in an OpenLayers
Map using WMS Untiled?

Or is the only way to do this to set numZoomLevels to something like 100 so
that it feels like a continuous zoom to the end user?
