[OpenLayers-Users] 2.3RC3: flashing baselayer images

Hi list,

using 2.3RC3 I get a different phenomenon.

When I perform the following use case (WMS Untiled):

1) zoom in with a box
2) change base layer from baselayer A to baselayer B
3) zoom out with a click
4) change baselayer back from baselayer B to A

I see the image of baselayer A flashing from the old situation (after action
1) to the new situation (after action 4).

Can anybody explain this behaviour? Is it intentional?
