[OpenLayers-Users] Making Tiles

My first map using OpenLayers is at

At the maximum zoom, it is using a layer of 148 tiles.  Creating the
tiles by hand took me 3 days.  Taking it to another layer will require
1000+ tiles at the next zoom.  It would be nice to have a program that
would create the tiles in the right format and right directory
structure.  Does anyone know of such a program?
