[OpenLayers-Users] non EPSG:4326 sources...

I have some imagery that is not in 4326 and to speed things up, I'd like the
projections to be native to the imagery.  

If I remove EPSG:4326 from my mapserver wms-srs definition, the openlayers
WMS request causes a mapserver error:

Invalid SRS Given:SRS must be valid for all requested layers.

Is there something special I need to do to tell OL to not ask for things in
4326?

If I add EPSG:4326, openlayers works, but MS reprojects the imagery on the
fly, slowing things down and causing artifacts at tile boundaries.  I'd like
to avoid this.  Any recommendations?
