Hi Robert,

I have never done this, but it seems that could be easy creating an
extension for MediaWiki.
See http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/MediaWiki_Developer's_Handbook, the
chapter related to Adding Javascript.

For help on doing that you should ask in MediaWiki mailing lists.
