[OpenLayers-Users] status of OpenLayers.Layer.TileCache ?

Gregor, I'm just using the TileCache layer by itself, not with other  
layers.  I'd be a bit surprised if it was interfering with other layer  
types, but then again stranger things have happened.  Do the same  
things happen if you swap out TileCache for TMS pointing at the same  
service, or is it just the TileCache layer that causes the problem?

Oh and yes, its 2.5 final that I am using.
