[OpenLayers-Users] Simple KML Demo

I am just quickly putting together a demo a local users group
I put a KML file in a web visible location
I open it using vanilla Google Maps and it shows fine
but, in a trivial OpenLayers page, and its not showing..
   am I missing something simple?
