[OpenLayers-Users] Whole Polygon as a Marker. Is it possible ?

Hi all!
continuing with this question, is there any way to select a marker from a text layer with selectFeature hover. I've seen examples with polygons and one of metacarta with markers, but i couldn't see the code. Can someone send me the correct code or tell me where can i find it?
