[OpenLayers-Users] Loading a GML

Sorry, but is there any solution???

I can see that so many features make the map slow.
Are the features treated like markers???
So my question is, can I load 1000 features in another way?
I am thinking about setting up MarServer, this way I know it wont be slow.
Is that the solution?
