[OpenLayers-Users] Is it possible to delete a point using theModifyFeature control?

I have overwritten OpenLayers.Control.ModifyFeature.prototype.handleKeypress
to use the key "k" to delete a selected feature. It works great.

What would you like the modify feature control to provide? Some way to
delete features when the user selects a feature and press certain keys?
