[OpenLayers-Users] Map24 layer

Hi,

Can someone tell me something about the status of the Map24 Layer?
I noticed this was developed some time ago by a company called  
Componio in Germany, and that it is available through a sandbox on the  
OpenLayers wiki site.
But the development was done about a year ago, and does not seem to be  
working 100% correct.
Zooming seems to be reversed (double click does a zoom out in stead of  
a zoom in; When drawing an area by holding down the shift key the  
zooming is not always done correct; sometimes a total zoom in shows  
the area around lat/lon 0,0).
Is someone still working on this? Are there any plans to put this  
layer in the release of Openlayers?
