[OpenLayers-Users] <object><embed> instead of <img> for SVG?

Hello,

i am asking the WMS for a image in svg format in Safari it works fine,  
but Firefox won't show the SVG maps since it does not handle the SVG  
inside the image tag. So is there a way to tell OL to use <object> or  
<embed>? I could probably just take the code and modify it but I was  
wondering if there is a parameter which does just this?
