Yes it could be interessant... 
Personnally, I am trying to adapt the cluster class as a "LineStringCluster"
class. This class can cluster line string based on the start and end points
of the line string.

Maybe If I found a solution to "uncluster" some features a zoom level, I
mail you ;)
