Yes, that's true. The plan is to allow for multiple symbolizers for one
feature, so you could draw e.g. a thin black line on top of a thick
yellow one. This would also be a step towards better SLD support.

Unfortunately, there was neither enough time nor interest from others
until now to start working on it.
