I agree.  I'd buy the book.  I'd also settle for an upgrade to the API docs
that would include sample code for each entry.

If you mean a eBook that deals with a current version, I'd totally buy 
it. Something of a "howto" format would be cool, since a reference is 
already available online.

Paper books spend so long at the publisher's and printer's that they're 
usually outdated by the time they come out. Watch out for that.
