[OpenLayers-Users] Scale on the map in nautical miles

Do you mean the scale line control?  I have one working for Nautical 
miles and meters like so:

        map.addControl(new OpenLayers.Control.ScaleLine({topOutUnits: 
'nmi', topInUnits: 'm'}) );
