[OpenLayers-Users] converting Lon-lat into pixels

[wrap map]

I am confused if it is possible to convert Lon-lat values into pixel values?
in my application i want to use openlayers without Lon-lat i just want
pixels of jpg images(which i will display as map). can anyone suggest how to
solve this problem in Openlayers?
