[OpenLayers-Users] problem when constructing a filter

I have a table A that has nongeographic fields and one geographic field that
holds a spatial position. This table has a relationship with another table B
that holds only nongeographic fields.
I've constructed a vector layer using the feature A, but I need to construct
a filter using a property of the table B. How can i accomplish this?
