[OpenLayers-Users] non commercial layers with country boundaries, counry names, city names, rivers

Hi, 

I am looking for the following layers to use as overlays over WMS Global
Mosaic map from non commercial data sources: country boundaries, country
names, city names, rivers. Maybe there  is an example somewhere ?  

Also is this a complete list of WMS services
http://trac.openlayers.org/wiki/AvailableWMSServices ?  
Where can I get details on  each of the layers, for example available bounds
and resolutions?
