[OpenLayers-Users] IE help please.

Hi all,
I am using Open layers and Geoserver 1.7.4  and maps are displaying well in
Fire Fox but not in IE(6,7,8).
 Message from IE says
*Error in Openlayers.js line 786 character 55 line 786.
Error:"div' is null or not an object*.

Any help much appreciated.
