Hi Sarah,

The link you gave is a post where the person himself hasn't been able to get
it working.
Secondly if you look at the map file he is using OGR to read shape file
while I am trying to access the WFS from Mapserver.
I am yet to find any working example of WFS creation from Mapserver.
The proxy is not a problem for me now.

Send me the link if you find a good example.
