[OpenLayers-Users] extract WKT for selected features?

I am trying to extract the WKT for a geometry selected with a
GetFeature control, like in this example:
http://openlayers.org/dev/examples/getfeature-wfs.html

For now the solution is eluding me, I will greatly appreciate some pointers.
