[OpenLayers-Users] Scale Control Position

"The Scale control displays the current map scale as a ratio (e.g. 
Scale = 1:1M).  By default it is displayed in the lower right corner of
the map."

This page does not seem to indicate how to change the default position of the scale display (I would like to move it to the lower left so that it is not covered by the OverviewMap).  How can I do this?
