[OpenLayers-Users] Map begin at specific zoom level

I have used

 maxExtent: new OpenLayers.Bounds() in the map options or

map.setCenter(new OpenLayers.LonLat(x,y),zoomlevel);

 

They both methods give me the initial map that I want.
