[OpenLayers-Users] fractional zoom and tilecache

Hi,

Very easy question i'm sure...

If using fractional zoom, is this still showing a set number of mapping
levels but allowing the user to see enlarged/reduced views of the tiles
between the "official" levels.

I'm guessing this is the case to allow something like tilecache to work?
