[OpenLayers-Users] Setting dpi und compression on servers via wms

Hi list,

I know that this lsit may not be the correct one to put this question,
but i assume that here are enoughe experienced users to have any
information for me.

Is there a posibility to set compressionlevel/quality and resultion for
a jpeg-response within the wms-request?
For example .....&bbox=......&resolution=72&compression=50&format=jepg

Any hints are appreciated, a NO is expected.
