[OpenLayers-Users] Location (XY) of line splitting

Hello everybody

I want to add a line splitting tool to my webgis. This is working well. 
But, the problem is that I want to add a point feature where the split has
occured. To do this, i would need the location (XY) of where the split.

Is this information available through an event function?
