[OpenLayers-Users] Loading rotation from a GeoRSS file

Hi,

I'd like to specify the direction (i.e bearing) of a series of 
photographic anoramas with locations (lat/lon) defined in a GeoRSS feed. 
I'm planning on using the geo:dir tag for this.

Is there any way I can automatically get the value from geo:dir in OL, or 
do I need to subclass OpenLayers.Format.GeoRSS and override the 
getFeatureFromItem() method to parse the direction and add it to the 
feature's attributes?
