[OpenLayers-Users] Proxy problem in GetFeatureInfo - no solution??

Hi Ian,

All the mapserver configurations are in the map file.
So there must be something missing there which is why I get the message

   WMS server error. Unsupported INFO_FORMAT value (text/html). 

But for the formats supported i.e text/plain and GML, data is not coming.
This indicates a problem with openlayers because although it is collecting
the lonlat from the map it is not making a proper request to mapserver for
the GetFeatureInfo data.

then OpenLayers.loadURL(url, '', this, setHTML) is throwing error.error is
thrown from 
XmlHttpRequest.js file where username, password is coming undefined.

What is the reason for this?
Now even the data for text/plain isn't coming.
