[OpenLayers-Users] which is the best way to display a set of points coming from database?

dear BMcBride and RFeagin,
If you send me your works I'll give them a try!!
Actually I've managed creating a geojson object from the php page that
executes the query.
The geojson featurecollection is echoed inside the main page so I have it
inside the openlayers <script></script>
I know it's not a optimum solution but actually it works and I can show it
to the boss! So now I'm keeping it and I'll improve it in the future.

if you want on next monday I can send or post here the solution I've found
but, since I know it's horrible, you have to promise me you won't laugh at
it ;-)
