I have an website on IIS 7 (Windows Server 2008) that uses OpenLayers and
GeoServer to view maps using WMS and WFS layers.

When I use the url "http://locahost/GeoData/Map.aspx" from the server its
installed on it works fine however if I replace localhost with machine name
or IP e.g. "http://192.87.0.54/GeoData/Map.aspx"
the map page fails with openlayers error:

Line: 772
Error: Automation server can't create object
this.xmldom=new ActiveXObject("Microsoft.XMLDOM");}

I then decided to take the WFS layers out and only display the WMS layers
and it worked. I'm guessing this might be to do with fact WFS needs a
'Proxy' to work through 'IIS'.

Am I right? Can someone direct me to an 'idiot proof' tutorial for fixing
this problem
Thanks in advance.
