[OpenLayers-Users] Clustering in multiple layers

Hi,

i've found this post
http://lists.osgeo.org/pipermail/openlayers-users/2009-November/015117.html
where they say that clustering strategy in multiple layers was not supported
(in 2009). Has this situation changed?

My problem is that i have many features in diferents layers, about 10 to 15
different layers, wich can't be combined into one (doing this would mean
change the layer switcher and more). Is there a way i can cluster features
from different layers?.
