[OpenLayers-Users] Switch navtoolbar from external control

Hi everybody,
I added a custom button to the Navtoolbar panel, the button let the user to
insert a placemark. It works but is confusing when the zoombox is active.
So I need to reset the navtoolbar to mousedefaults (pan) when the button is
active and deactivate the button when zoombox is selected.
Does anybody know a function to manage the controls inside Navtoolbar?
