[OpenLayers-Users] Show center of the map

Hi

i have a map, in which i should mark the center of it. When i drag the map,
this mark should stay in the center of the map window (not in the center
using coordinates).
I could position an icon, or maybe draw two lines forming a cross, or a
point in a vector layer.

I am able to display markers in some coordinates, but obvisouly when i drag
the map, the marker moves to it's new position in the map. But i don't know
if the marker can be set in a position of the window control instead of the
map, so that it keeps it's position when the map is dragged.
