[OpenLayers-Users] Openstreetmap: 504 (Gateway Time-out)

Hi,

Today all of my webapps which has mapnik layers are getting this error message 
"504 (Gateway Time-out)"

But only for scales larger than about 1: 100,000.

can anyone offer an explanation?
