[OpenLayers-Users] How to specify a hotspot area for marker incons

Hi OpenLayers users/developers:

I am trying to figure out a way to specify hotspot area for marker icons, and I simply can't find a way.

If you know how, please help.

My goal is to specify the region that is covered by the icon images. Currently I believe the system simply uses the entire rectangle occupied by the image, and I think that will be incorrect, when you have a collection of markers that are close to each other.
