[OpenLayers-Users] Features not drawn - I have tons of features, some features not alwyas drawn - when panned into map

Hi,

It's me again. If I zoom in or out at those non-drawn rectangles, the draw will occur. Note that codes that create these features have been executed right after the page loads.

Hi,

My program creates 2000 markers, each associated with a polygon, which represents the area of an aerial image.

When I pan the map, the features that now go in the viewport are not always get drawn.  If I click on the vector layer Select item in the switcher control, then they are drawn after clicking on the switcher.


1.      What could cause the problem of no-drawing?

2.      I noticed noticeable performance latency. Any idea how to improve or how to design when dealing with thousands (could be tens of thousands) of markers/polygons?
