[OpenLayers-Users] How to programmatically choose one of the base layers to first display?

My app has several base layers, including Googles, Yahoos, some WMS, all used as base layers.  They are added to map by AddLayers....
I want to be able to specify any layer to display when app starts up. Currently it always displays the first item is the AddLayers() statement.

Any idea of how to do this?
