[OpenLayers-Users] map inside a link. Does not work in IE

Hi,
I'm trying to put a map inside a html link (<a> element). Then, I can have 
some map "thumbnails". Currently, I use a <div> element inside a <a>. I use 
the inner div as my OpenLayers map element.

Although invalid html, this works fine in every browser except in ie. In ie, 
map is displayed correctly, link target is displayed in status bar, but when 
clicking on the map, nothing happens.

My real example is a bit complex: multiple thumbnails, and vector features 
drawn on each map, but it can be reduced to that minimal example:

Do you have any idea on how to achieve that ?
