[OpenLayers-Users] KML placemark id of itself

hi,

im trying to retrieve the id of my placemarks in the kml,i can retrieve the
features having extracted styles and attributes successfully but i have been
dumbfounded as how to retrieve the placemark id??

                26.509904531413927
                10000
                17000</range

so from the above i want to retrieve c_9 preferrably with the loaded
features itself,as in the features loaded also have their respective
placemark id attached which i can access.
please help
