[OpenLayers-Users] Suggestion about the database to be used

Hi,

       Can any one suggest me which database to be used with OL, I have to
store the values in a DB table and retrieve them(trivial tasks). which is
better MySQL or PostGIS?? Can anybody give benefits of these...
