[OpenLayers-Users] Layers Order matter?

Hi folks,

I have a base map (google maps) and 2 different vector layers.
Vector layer 1 has is added to the Control.SelectFeature.

If Vector Layer 2 is over (ordered second) then I am not able to select any
feature in layer 1.

I also tried adding both layers to the SelectFeature control, but wont
matter.

Is this right or do I have some mistake somewhere ?

Furthermore, can I have two vector layers (points) added to the Control
Feature and been able to select features from any layer ?


Any suggestion is appreciated.
