the PDXAPI previewer uses OpenLayers http://www.pdxapi.com/preview

There's also a project to make your live easier when you want to use
GeoCouch directly in your JavaScript app:
https://github.com/vmx/geocouch-utils

And there's also a small demo I created for the FOSSGIS which uses
MapQuery (OpenLayers), GeoCouch and geocouch-utils  at
http://vmx.iriscouch.com/fossgis2011/_design/geo/index.html (click on
"Preview").
