[OpenLayers-Users] Anyone have an estimate of when openlayers 3.0 will be released as a stable version. I am interested in the touch screen capabilities.

OpenLayers 2.11 will include support for touch environments.

We're closing in on the first release candidate for 2.11.  The release 
candidate cycle takes anywhere from a couple weeks to a couple months. 
(see http://trac.osgeo.org/openlayers/browser/tags/openlayers for past 
performance).
