[OpenLayers-Users] TransformFeature iverrides drag events?

I have a situation  where I need to add both the TransformFeature and the
DragFeature to a layer. The reason for this is there is an internal bug in
OL that cause the icons to disappear in TransformFeature . So I simply check
for if its an icon in TransformFeature  and return a false in the
beforesetfeature event. Then the DragFeature controller takes over. Well
problem is the event does not work for DragFeature like onComplete. If I
remove the TransformFeature then the DragFeature events work. 

why would the events not work?
