Hi Openlayers devs,

I would like to bring to your attention that the annual SVG Open
conference on SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) takes place in
Cambridge/Boston, October 17 to 20. All infos at
http://www.svgopen.org/2011/participate.shtml

I would like to invite OpenLayers developers who specifically work on
SVG issues (e.g. vector graphics editing, vector styling, interactivity,
etc.) to present or participate on workshops/discussions.

The offical Call for Participation is already over (see
http://www.svgopen.org/2011/participate.shtml), but we could still make
some room for interesting presentations or panel discussions. Most SVG
working group members from W3C will be at the conference and there is
the opportunity to influence SVG towards better webmapping/Web GIS. I
think this is an interesting opportunity also for OpenLayers. In
addition you will be able to discuss issues with browser developers
(Mozilla, Webkit, Opera, Internet Explorer), since all of these projects
will have some presence at the conference.

If you are interesting to present or discuss around SVG and OpenLayers,
please let me know. There would also be the opportunity to organize a
short workshop/course on OpenLayers at the conference.

Looking forward to your contributions,
Andreas
