[OpenLayers-Users] Reposition KML vector shape by javascript

Hello, could someone please point me to the right direction where I can
see an example page which demonstrates a following senario... 

1) A vector shape with set of coordinates in KML displayed on a map
layer
2) setCenter to the default Lon Lat position
3) Then this shape can be moved to another specific location by
javascript

Basically I need to convert SVG polygons to KML which needs to be
displayed on a map  (initially centered to the default Lon Lat position
) then I needs it to be moved again to another Lon Lat position.
I'm stuck with KML as I'm not certain how I can access the default
coordinates and override it so the shape can be moved around...

Hope this makes sense. Any advice would be much appreciated.
