As an additional test, I have rewritten a portion of my code to create a
"valid GeoJSON" first, and then read the thing all at once.  However, I
still get the issue with certain features/clusters failing to respond to the
click/select event.  It's almost as if I am clicking in an empty area of the
map.  Again, only in Firefox, works fine in IE8.
