Hi Thomas,

use the link to Geoserver, for example http://geoserver.mydomain.com/web/
Without logging in you will see the menu option "Demos", choose
"DemoRequests" and from the dropdown-List choose whatever you like, for
example WMS_GetCapabilities.url

Hope this helps. It's from Geoserver 2.1.1
